I am a 14 year old girl. I started my period about 4 years ago and last month I didn't have one. Still up to now I don't have it. When my mom had her period growing up she was always irregular so I might have got that curse from her, haha. I have not had sex in my life, as I mentioned I'm 14 years old and I'm not that kind of girl, so pregnancy is not an option. I need to know what's wrong. It's frightening me because I'm afraid there might be something seriously wrong.

There could be many reasons for this. Stress, weight loss, medication, change in diet, the fact that you're young and your body is still adjusting.

Talk to your mom about this, if you're really concerned it's always best to go to a doctor and get checked out. :)

I would wait until your next one is supposed to start and see what happens. If it doesn't you might want to go and get checked. But if it does monitor the next few months to see what happens. If it's on again, off again you are just irregular like your mom was.

If it really bothers you, sometimes getting on birth control can regulate your periods. It doesn't mean you have to have sex, but it will help you with your periods. Good Luck.
