    Water shuts off by itself
I was just about ready to run a hot bath in my spare bathroom, turned on the water, it ran for a little bit and then I heard a clunk and the water stopped. I turned the spigot to off and then on again. Water started to flow for a few seconds, then clunk, stopped again. This happened on both the hot and cold water spigots. No other faucets seem to be affected. Does anyone have an answer - greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you have some major crud in the line. Shut the water off. Pry the caps off the faucet handles, remove the screws, and the handle. Unscrew the stem. Turn the water back on for a few seconds. A helper holding a towel over the faucet will make less of a mess. If some big chunks of crud along water comes out, you have fixed the problem. Put everything back together. If not, post back and wait until the plumber is in.
