After installing itunes on my computer, it won't run

Does it give any error? Is the itunes service running. Click start >run type services.msc (if you have windows xp) and then check to see if the services is running

I am having the same problem. I have tried reinstalling the program on neeous ocassiomns, it first started happening when I updated my iPhone as well as iTunes. Could someone shed some light on this please. I need iTunes for my phone. I am running windows.
