    Soaking tub filler install
I am installing a soaking tub. I would like the filler to be located in the tub rim where the drain/overflow is. My overflow drain does not leave enough room below the rim for the filler.

Any sugesstions? Does someone make a low profile overflow drain or something like that?

I can see problems with rebuilding the tub waste and shoe to accommodate a spout coming out of the trip lever hole. Could you possibly mount the valve and spout on the side like some Kohler tubs do? Regards, Tom

I think I will return the tub filler and go to a deck mount instead of one mounted on the tub rim

    Thanks
