It all of a sudden just came back to me... after watching Howard the Duck, about this movie I had on tape when I was young. It was shot a lot like Romancing the Stone, the main female character even looked a lot like Kathleen Turner, blonde hair. I don't remember who the main male looked like. Anyway, there is a animal-electronic baby dinosaur they've got, and the mother was captured by some villains who have a boat and machine guns.

It was a great movie.

The dinosaurs were a Brontosaurus. And they were in the jungle.
