    Ground cover for active dogs
    Please need help!
We have two, one year old belgium shepards
Live in san diego, have 1,500 sq ft back yard.
Our dogs are extremely high energy, active dogs.
We resodded again. Lasted a month
    Artifisal turf not an option
    Wood chips not
    Gravel not

If you have resolved all the options, and you still ask the question (basically what is left to do), I don't see the point in suggesting anything that will help you other then limiting your dogs' exercise area and walk them more. l500 square feet back yard is enough for all of you to enjoy and maintain, even with two dogs. Your dogs have to be trained to respect their space, the same way they do in the house. However, they are still pups basically at one year old.

Hi! lonnie marie ho, and welcome to AMHD :)

You'll probably hate me after reading this, and Cesar Welcome to Cesar Millan's Official Web Site
would tell you the same thing, but I'm only thinking 'bout your animals.

If you really like Canines you will do those Belgium's a big favor by
    • Either moving to a property that has a much larger lot.
    • Exchanging them for a more relaxed breed.
    • Covering your yard with asphalt, comes in many colors now.
    • Taking them for walks until you tire them out.

Your yard is most likely, not 38.73 feet x 38.73 feet, but more like 30' x 50', and that's way too small for dog's of that breed.

One day I asked my Dad a question 'bout our Feline Candy, "She just doesn't want'a wear a collar", His reply, Cats are way too independent, you'd be better off forgetting 'bout it, and I have. She's the only one in the family that has a Tattoo.
