    When does this happen?

What operating system are you using?

Any changes that either happened or that you perhaps made to your computer around the time that the problem started; particularly any Software or Hardware that you installed or setup.

Just a few days before, maybe just within this week.. sorry can't recall when exactly.. but within this same time I installed switch file converter and the uniblue speedupmypc, registry booster and driverscanner... am not really techy here, what is a b software or hardware?

My os is win xp sp2.. also am using 256 ram, 80 gigs storage... hope this helps..

I would tend to think it would be one of the uniblue programs that were installed. My first guess would be Registry booster.

With this it is going to be trial and error. The first thing I would do is to uninstall Registry Booster.
-Now download and run CCleaner (similar to registry booster program) and let it remove whatever it finds

    ccleaner (Freeware)
    Download CCleaner 2.21.940 - FileHippo.com
On the right hand side, click download latest version

And then see if that would resolve problem.

-If not I would uninstall Driver scanner next (personally had issue with this one before)
    Now run the CCleaner again

Now see if problem is still there or not

Personally would start with above steps first and see if problem still persists
