I am Building a well insulated 24 by 30 FT garage with 9 ft walls in Central Iowa. I am needing to know what heating and cooling capcity I need. I will not heat full time in winter and will not cool full time in Summer. Only when I am out playing in my shop. I would consider T-PAC or window A/C and hanging Electric heater. Want to keep about 40*F in vacant times and 50* F while working in Winter. From 90*F OAT to about 80*F inside on hot days.

I want to install in Wall at time of Building and have planned 3 windows and one non-window walk-in door and an 18 ft. by 7 ft. overhead door.

A through the wall motel type heat pump 15,ooo BTU 5 kw heat should do the job
