    Lawnmower gas leak before and after carburetor changed.
    I have a craftsman eagle 1 lawnmower 6.75 HP. Gas is leaking from the air filter. I just replaced the carburetor with a new one(Tecumseh brand);however, the problem still persist.
    Need help. Thank you.

    What happens when you loosen the fuel cap?

    It could be crud in the fuel system such as rust in the tank.
