    2) Many Linux systems provide the ___ interface, which is built on top of X-Windows and resembles the Windows interface. GUI?

    3) The standard KDE 3.1 interface features a ____ metaphor. PATH NAME?

    4) Konqueror displays two panels. The left panel, called ___, lists the folder contents as a hierarchical directory structure. ROOT DIRECTORY?

1- the "*" character. The "?" character is a wildcard for one character only.

I'm afraid I don't know Linux, KDE, or Konquerer.
