When I use a tool, my light in the other room lights up
Hi, when I use a tool in one part of the house, a light that is plugged into an outlet in another room lights up briefly. I am concerned about the wiring in my house since this is happening. Should I be?

    Thank you in advance.

No, that should not happen. What kind of tool?
Tell us more. I curious how that can happen. Is light plug into a switched outlet? How does it act otherwise?

This is going to be an interesting one.

    Sounds like a loose neutral.
Identify the circuit the tool is plugged into, identify the circuit the light is on, They are likely a multicircuit sharing the same neutral,
If Not, I would check your main Neutral.
