    Eczema and itchy skin
    Hi,
My son have eczema from when he was 3 months old and he is now 3 years old.
We have gone to the doctors and was prescribed cortisone creams; sigmacort and novosone.
His skin would get better for a while but it would flare up again when I haven't been doing anything new to his skin or diet.
It is very frustrating because all he seems to do is scratch himself till his skin bleeds.
Can anyone tell me what other things to try and do?
    Thank you.

My son also has eczema and we have tried numerous products and steroid creams. We stopped the steroid creams completely and use a product called Robathoil for his baths. Your doctor probably told you do not bathe everyday. Mayo clinic in Minnesota said bathe every day with this oil. After bath use Vanicream creams not lotions to lube up. My son gets it on his wrists bad so we cut bottom of tube socks and lotion him well and put those over his wrists for him to sleep. Keeps the moisture in and makes a huge difference. Mayo Clinic said steroids help for a while but when it comes back it gets worse.
