Looking for names of 80s cyborg film and 70/80s martian vs earth defenders movies

I am hoping someone can help me with the name of two films:
1. Probably from the late 80's. The basic idea is that a man (I think a soldier) is changed into a cyborg/android. He has a weaponised arm/hand that fire missles/fire etc. and part of his face has and one eye has been replaced.
The plot is basically that he is seeking revenge on his creator - I have a vague memory that he teams up with a woman to do this. At the end of the film the villain has rejuvinated himself and also has a more advanced weaponised hand. I am not 100% but I think the cyborg hero gets killed at the end and the woman takes out the villain.
2. This is a bit of a long shot. My brother and I used to watch this cartoon film a lot, but neither of us can remember the name of it. I think it was from the 70s or 80s.
The plot was that martians (at the end revealed to be martian robots) are invading the earth. A team of earths defenders have various fights with them to stop the invasion. Here are a few key points:
- The hero's spaceship looks like a dragon
- Part of the spaceship detatches and becomes a large (piloted) fighting robot. The robots weapon is a large cross.
- Inside the robot are smaller vehicles such as a triceratops.
- At one point the martians trick the team into going to mars, the dragon spaceship crashes and is trapped in a glass dome.
- There are various fight seens against a giant crab robot and a flying chinese dragon robot.
