    Scared in need of answers
My last period was in May 15-22, it's now July (I had a previous miscarriage at 8 weeks but other than that pregnancy I 'ave never skipped a period) and I am 'aving symptoms of pregnancy but all the home test I take come back either inconclusive or negative. Is it possible that my hormones are too low to show up on a hpt? If I am pregnant, would I be far enough along to show up if I had an ultrasound? Thank you for any help or advice you could give me!

I would suggest you see your doctor or go to a free clinic. How old are you?

I'm not judging you, so please understand that... but you are scared that you are pregnant... you had a miscarriage already... and you think your pregnant again... shouldnt it be time to think of some preventing?

I'm 25. I'm not afraid of being pregnant, I'm afraid of going through another miscarriage. My first miscarriage happened 3 years ago and the day I found out I barely had enough time to register that I was pregnant before I miscarried (the night I found out). I'm in a very loving relationship with my husband, but I want to find out for sure before I get his or my family's hopes up again.

Ooh I see. Thank you for that clarification :) I'm sorry I misunderstood.

In this case, I know exactly how you feel. I have miscarried before and my hsuband and I are trying to get pregnant (we have one 5 year old girl, and we want one more because our daughter is his step daughter, and though he loves her very much, he wants a child of 'his loins' I guess would be a good term for it :P )

Its possible that you are not pregnant and the stress you are going through is delaying your period. I would see your doctor about your concerns. If nothing else he can put your mind to rest with a definite yes or no answer.

    Good luck hon.

Thanks, honestly I wasn't thinking about even my period until I noticed I was over a month late, and I 'ave been trying hard not to stress, and the doctors are booked up something fierce right now and I'm 'aving to play wait and see until I get an appointment.

I know that you can buy rather inexpensive HPT'S but I would try buying a higher end product and be sure to use first mornings urine.
A full bladder is best and using the stick during mid flow is recommended as well.
