    Skin rash
I have the weirdest rash that occurs on the back of my neck from time to time. It is a string of perfect red circles, each one about the size of an M&M... It does not itch, it's not scaley, it doesn't hurt but when I run my fingers across it , it feels a little burny or sensitive. Not much at all though... I have searched the internet everywhere to figure it out. It is not raised. Can someone please help?

Do you have short hair? Do you shave your hairline or neck?

It could be nothing more than a heat rash of sorts.

No, I do not have short hair. The 'rash' looks like I have had a hot chain link necklace laid on my neck. It's the most perfect circles under the skin. It's not raised or anything. It comes from time to time.

    Thanks

Do you notice if it comes when you are stressed out, or hot maybe?

I noticed it this morning when I got out of shower, but I never take that hot of showers anyway.. It looks like round rings of blood just under the skin... I usually see it from time to time on the left side of back of neck. This morning it was on the right side and also on the top of my spine.

I believe it may not be anything serious. Like how some people get rashes when they get nervous, however you should make an appointment with a dermatologist to be sure.

Thanks so much for your time this morning. I will definitely get it checked out. - Do you think it is definitely not ringworm?

Ringworm does not come and go. It would be one raised circle in one area. It generally itches, though not always. I has a bullseye sort of look to it. See the attached picture.
