I backed up files from QuickBooks onto cd's, and 3.5 floppies. I took QuickBooks off my computer. Now, I was trying to read these disks, and I get this message Drive or network connection that the sshortcut QuickBook Pro.INK' refers to is unavailable, make sure the disk is inserted correctly, or the network resource is available, and try again. Can someone help?

Did you use the backup option inside of quickbooks or did you copy and paste the files yourself??

The backups created with the Quickbooks program can only be opened/restored from Quickbooks. So you need to reinstall Quickbooks.

If you want to review that data outside of Quickbooks, you will need to export it.
