    Signin over rights for an unborn child
    I live in Iowa my ex boyfriend lives in Illinois he wants to sign over his rights before the babies born how do we do that?

    He cant. For one, the baby is not born yet. No one can have rights to a child that isn't here yet.

    Second, he cannot just 'sign his rights away' it isn't allowed.

    Read the sticky at the top of the forum about signing over rights.

    Basically its like Jenni says... he cant.
