    Could I be Pregnant?
I missed my period and it is getting close to two months now and can not figure out why. I have NEVER in my life missed my period except when I got pregnant with my son who is almost 15 months old. I have done urine test they all say negative and I went to the hospital and they done a blood test but it is negative. I am getting horrible migraines like before and want to sleep all the time but can't (get exhausted easy) and just today I have this nasty metallic taste in my mouth. Can anyone help me out please?

Usually blood tests are pretty accurate. But if you still think you might be pregnant, it can't hurt to go back and have another one done. If it's still negative, I'd suggest talking to your regular doctor about other causes for your symptoms.

Are you stressed? Working too much. Stress can cause late arrivals in a monthly visit. If you just got on a new birth control as well. That can change things around a bit.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and remember we cannot diagnose anything. If your breath smells fruity, then you COULD have Ketoacidosis which needs to be treated ASAP.

Diabetes can affect periods. You COULD have it. Does it run in your family? The tiredness and headaches COULD be diabetes.

Here are some symptoms: Type 2 diabetes: Symptoms - MayoClinic.com

    Are you craving sweets?

Do a simple test for me. Pinch your thumb with the nail of your other thumb until the area under the thumb turns white. Remove the pressure. Does the area under the pressed thumb return to red instantly?

Remember, that this is only a guess.

To all who replied. For the one who mentioned stressed I am not under a lot of stress.
I stay at home with my child I am stressing trying to figure out what is wrong.

To the guy who mentioned diabetes: I have been tested and I don't have them but it won't hurt to get tested again cause it is borderline in my family. I did the thumb and it turns red as soon as I take my finger nail off it.

The blood returning is very good. If both parents have diabetes, then you have a very good chance of getting it.

You just said you are stressing trying to figure out what is wrong. Even that stress can cause a delay in your period. And while there is probably much more to it that stress, any stress isn't going to help.

Well everyone I started it is dark purple brown though. I think it is still blood from 14 months ago from birth.

14 months ago? If you really think there's still blood from over a year ago I really recommend you getting into your dr's sooner than late. Something about that just doesn't sound right.
