I bought an IBM DVD-RW Multi-Burner Ultrabay Slim Drive 92P6110 for my IBM Thinkpad T42 2373-M69 and when I tried to use it: writes and read CD's but can't write and read DVD's. Is there a solution I can get help with?

You need to load some burning software for the DVD to burn properly.

Yes I know but it doesn't recognize DVD's (blank or written), I have tried to use use ActiveISO burning software for an ISO and it can't find a DVD neither can Windows but it can find and write CD's
