    Earned Child Tax Credit?
I was told that I could receive the earned child tax credit monthly? How does this work?

You need to submit paperwork for the Advance EIC with your employer, and the EIC is then prorated over the year and added to your paycheck.

Oooh I see. So since I already got my EIC in a lump sum with my tax return for '09, I won't be able to get it again :P but I can do this next year :) thank you

That is not the case. The EIC you got on your recent tax return was for Tax Year 2008.

If you still qualify for the EIC for 2009, you can have that credit added to your paycheck on a pro-rated basis.

You should first ask your employer.

They can do the needed research on the IRS website and download the required forms from there.
