My best friend (like my sister) emotionally moved away from me. I have asked her several times and written her a letter. She replies with everything is fine. She no longer calls me like she used to or has any interest in my life. I don't understand? KIm

Try e-mailing, sometimes people don't want to get too personal on the phone and don't have time to write. She might be going through a problem that she doesn't want to share. Try to keep in touch, but don't push it. She might open up.:)

Some people just have issues "keeping up" with others. I am one of them.
Its not that you did anything, its just that being your friend has become a chore (and I mean this in the best possiable way) making contact with someone you don't see everyday becomes a "to-do list" activty, something to be put off even if its enjoyable. This might the "its not you its me" syndrome. But it really isn't you. Its me.
