I am on an H1B visa and my husband is currently on an H4. What should we fill in as his Occupation on form 1040NR? He is not working in the US.

Reply for occupation for your spouse, you can leave it blank.
Why are you file Form 1040NR? You can file joint return as residents as first year choice or if you are resident.
