My husband inherited his mother's home. Our adult daughter, husband, and 4 children have lived there, rent free, for 3 years. We have now found out there is drug activity in this home, as told to us by our 9 year old grand daughter. Do we need an eviction notice or can we just ask them to move? We live in the state of Missouri. Thank you

You can politely ask them to move and if they don't you will have to go through with a full blown eviction proceeding.

If there was a lease that specified no illegal activity, you might be able to evict if you can prove illegal activity.
