I used to hire out this movie A lot when I was young - I can even remember the place where it sits on the shelf in the store. I don't remember too many details except what I will describe and that I loved it a lot - now I have a daughter I want to share it with her.
It was about a young girl who goes to another world/realm through her cupboard (its not the lion the witch and the wardrobe). There is a witch who uses a certain thing (peach maybe? ) to keep herself young and its kept in a glass case, at the end of the movie the girl brakes the case and the thing that keeps her young and then the witch turns old and dies. There are all these other character things in it too - sort of like teddy bear type people. Oh its killing me, I've looked at numerous websites but have found nothing!
