    Weird lumps?
Hello, lately I have had 2 very weird lumps appear, one is on my thigh, and one is on my labia major. I know it is not an STD, because I got checked for everything 8 months ago (havent had any kind of sexually intercourse since then) they've just appeared in the last week or so...

***just throughing this out there... my family has a very very large history of skin cancer... could this be it?

    Are they painful?

More than likely you are going to have to have them looked at by a physician. We can not diagnose weird lumps over the internet.

They don't hurt at all. Im just very worried because 2 weeks ago my mom found the same thing, had it removed, and it turned out it was skin cancer... I won't be able to get in to see a doctor for a week or two... would this make a big difference?

Sooner is always better. It is your health.
But I couldn't tell you what kind of difference two weeks would make, but I would make the doctor visit a top priority, especially with your mother's history. I would think that the doctor's office would as well.

"Mom, I don't want to alarm you but I have two bumps similar to the ones you had. Don't worry, I've made a doctor's appointment."

There isn't anything to feel ashamed of.
I would just be direct, you would be surprised what mother's can handle. ;)
If she had a similar situation, she will most definitely understand your concern with any skin imperfections that you would find.
She will understand better safe then not.

Um so well I googled it:P and the one on my labia major could be a cyst... what the heck is that!!

Seems that I'm going to have to go see a doctor :(

First don't use Google to try and self diagnose, that can be dangerous.

Cyst is a term for a raised area of the skin with a packet of fluid or fluid-like underneath. I think its fairly general and not necessarily a health concern. Please still have a doctor examine your lumps.
