Is this right and what should I do
IDk but I haven't bothered doing anything because I feel like even if I did do something I wouldn't feel comfortable going back. I also figure I might as well check into finding something cheaper, they are way over priced.
I went to a chiropractor a couple months ago and they determined that the curvature of my neck is really bad and that is causing a lot of my aches. He says it takes around at least 12 visits to correct.
They claim that they do not turn anybody away if they can not afford them.
So then they had me talk to their financial lady and she said it would cost $200. A month since I told her I didn't have any insurance and not much of an income. (Didn't even fill out any paper work on my income that I remember). I said that I could not afford that so they told me to call some places to get insurance. Those places said I was not eligible for insurance. I tried checking other places and they said an insurance plan would cost me $150. A month. $50. Less than the chiropractor wanted to charge me. In my logic charging $50. More a month than what you can go and get insurance for less to me is NOT working with me. So I feel they are not being ethical and out and out not being honest that they will work with you when they aren't.
