Some acne is caused by a bacerium that is hard to kill. They sometimes prescribe antibiotics. I suggest you ask to go to the doctor and be evaluated.

Some acne is perfectly normal and almost unavoidable for someone going through adolescence. If yours is particularly severe talk with your doctor. There are prescription-strength creams and ointments but using them when not warranted can do more harm than good.

    OK, try these:

    Cuticura Medicated Soap Original Formula

Buy Cuticura Original Formula Medicated Antibacterial Soap For Blemish/Acne-Prone Skin Online at drugstore.com

Wash with warm water. Rinse with cold water.

Use Wash n' Dry and nothing else

When you feel your face oily and you cannot use the soap like when your away from home.

If your face wants to be stubborn and you cannot seem to remove the oils. Premix in a container such as an old Cepecol mouthwash bottle (re-labeled as not mouthwash) 1/2 Witch Hazel and 1/2 Cepecol Mouthwash.

To use mix 2/3 of the above mixture in the Cepecol Cap and add 1/3 warm water. Guaranteed to remove oils from skin and hair.

I'd also recommend a doctor's prescription for Retin-A and apply at bedtime. Can't be used with salacylic acid products and might make skin sun sensitive. Comes in various strengths in a creame and gel form.

Last but not least... keep your fingers off your face. They are full of acne causing oil.
