My dog is 8 years old and house broken. I just purchased a new bedding set. He has urinated on it 3 times within one week (I had it professionally cleaned each time) What is going on? He is a dachshund. Someone suggested that it had to do with the fact that the bedding is white?

He's marking the new stuff because it doesn't smell like "his," that is, like you or him.

Training him not to mark at his age would be like training me to tweet (I'm 50+).

The easiest solution is to cover the bedding with something that does smell like his until he's used to it.
