    Period after giving birth
I gave birth to our son 11 weeks and although we are not planning to add another addition just yet there have been a few occasions we have not used protection.
6 weeks after the birth of my son my periods returned lasting the usual 5 days - I was due for another 30th May but it never came - I have taken 2 tests now both negative ?

My periods are notmally like clock work

Could I still be pregnant despite 2 negative tests or is this just due to periods being messed up after giving birth ?

It can take a couple of months after the birth before you start getting regular periods again. However, seeing as you have had unprotected sex for a month, then I think you need to go and see your doctor, hopefully they can do blood work on you seeing as the other tests aren't showing anything up.

I think you're actually more fertile just after birth anyway. But could just be your body trying to catch up again.

I had the same issue after giving birth to my daughter. I was completely freaked when I missed a period, after having what I thought was my regular cycle. It turned out my cycle had not yet returned to normal.

In your case I would recommend seeing your doctor for a blood test just to be sure. I wish you the best of luck.
