    Aquatic Turtles
I am doing some advanced planning for the two Red Earred Sliders I have recently purchased. I just like to know how long does it take for them to grow to around 5 inches and 12 inches.

    Thanks in advance!

My grandparents use to have turtles.:) They were so cute. Anyway from what I know I think they grow to maximum size soon after they're born. Do you know how old your turtles are, that might help us better answer the question.

I don't know how old they are. I got them just about a month ago and they are still very small.

Sorry, I don't know much about turtles.
I did Google some info and came up with some great sites.
The closest I could find to an answer for you was that they grow pretty fast until they are around 6 inches long... sorry.

This first one is very informative, it has everything from diet, to temperature to tank sizes and prices.

Well, some turtles don't grow that big. Yours might all ready be full grown. Still, if it's young then it will grow very fast.
