I have a 16 hp craftsman lawn tractor that the safety switch that keeps the ignition from engaging while the blades are in use mode is faulty. It does not register that it is not engaged so it won't start. Where is the switch located and is it possible to bypass it?

Could not find the manual, so I viewed the parts breakdown at Sears.
Your engagement is on the right hand side of the dash, so look directly below and inside the dash. Follow the linkage; that has often, but not always been its location.
