    Percentage based pay
Hi,I have recently started a new job as a hgv driver(trucker) and get paid 22 and a half % of what my vehicle earns, the problem I have is that my employer will not tell me what the vehicle has earned,so at the moment I am getting 22 and a half % of ?

For example if I do a run of say 110 miles and the vehicle earns £500 for that job then obviously I would get £112.50 but the problem I have is that I have this figure of 110 miles on my delivery ticket and this pays ? Because my employer refuses to let me know how much mileage pays which amount,
So,my question is : if I am paid by percentage is my employer legally obliged to tell me what distance pays what amount so that I can work out my wages.

I am paid monthly but have no way of knowing if my wages are correct at the end of the month
    Thanks,fridgefrog.

You are being paid on what the vehicle you use on the NET BASIS.
You must trust your employer calcuations.
If you multiply what you get by 100 and divide the answer by 22.5 , you get what the net
    Earnings of the vehicle.
Do not forget that there are many other
Expenses that have to be covered.
