    Lanlord not fullfilling his obligation
Our landlord has broken is part of the lease. He has asked us to $800 instead of $700 due to the fact we get paid at end of month. We have stuck to our bargain but he is not. He has not giving us a copy of our lease yet. We have lived her for about 5 months now. He promised us he would have the yard done, we have broken windows as well he is not taking care of. Is there something we can do? We also have electrical outlets that are a fire hazard that he will not take care of. They are arcing as well.

You do not have to pay any more than the amount on the lease. If you are paying at the end of the month and are 3 or 4 weeks late then the landlord can ask for late fees anytime the payment is late. It is not his issue when you get paid, his issue is when HE gets paid.

For the home condition, write it down, give him a copy and send him a copy by certified mail. If not fixed shortly, you can call the code inspector for the city and see if they can declare the house unsafe. Then you will have to move at right away but will not be held to the lease
