    My girlfriend thinks she's bi
Ok she told me tonight she thinks she's bi because she had a dream that she was gay but it dealt with nothing sexual. She said she isn't attracted to girls but she is confused. She also said she won't even think of holding hands with another girl. But I think it's just that she can communicate with girls more. Does that make her bi?

No a dream does not mean that you are bi.
I can possibly explain the dream if you can give the details.
I think you may be on the right track that she is identifying more with the same sex because she is on a better communication level than relating to boys.
It does not mean she is gay or bi

Just like dreaming you die rarely means you are going to die.
Dreams are 99 per cent symbolism for some other meaning

I don't know much about the dream... it just kind of scared me that she said that she thought she was bi. I don't mind if she is or if anyone is. Whatever floats your boat but I just don't want it to hurt our relationship

I would suggest you have a quiet, honest, and long conversation about it. Get her feelings into the open, and get your feelings into the open. No relationship will work if you don't communicate.

    Good luck hon.

*edit* sorry I misunderstood something, had to fix it (thought you said she thought she was bi because she dreamed about a 'guy' so I thought you meant you were a girl too. My apologies.

    We gave you our opinion.
She is not gay or bi
The dream had a different meaning pretty much like what you were guessing it might mean.

Bisexuality questions have been all over the board as of recently.

If she is not having a sexual relationship with the same sex, she is not bisexual. She maybe curious, but that is not uncommon for females. I imagine she is young, say 19ish. A lot of women question their sexuality because most women can admire and appreciate in a sexual way the beauty of a female's body. I am personally someone who feels attraction to females but I am not sleeping with any, haven't slept with any and have no desire to sleep with any in the future.

If she is with you then she needs to be faithful to your relationship. Being attracted to females or males outside of your relationship is only a problem when it is acted on.

    Hello S:

We are not our dreams... In fact, we aren't even our thoughts. We ARE what we do, and that changes too.

I had a dream that Dinosaurs were chasing me around my old high school.
Doesn't mean it's going to happen. I just saw Jurassic Park a few too many times.

Goofy, that dream means that you want to sleep with a dinosaur. Don't you do dream interpretation?

    Lol

Your girlfriend sounds neurotic. Tell her to get a grip on reality. There is no such thing as thought control.

My wife has woken up MAD literally MAD at me because of something I did or not did in a dream she had. They are just dreams they mean nothing.

I have done that, in confusion before.
When you wake up and haven't broke that connection, so you aren't sure of reality and the dream.
    I am sorry Spitvenom.

I tried to "work it out" the first few times it happened then I thought this is ridiculous. So now when it happens I start laughing and she calms down pretty quick. I understand about the connection the other night I dreamed I bought a house next door to Sarah Palin when I woke up I thought Why did we move to Alaska.

As others have said, you can't say she is bi because of a dream.

And even if she is bi, it shouldn't really matter, as long as they still find you attractive and are loyal to you it makes no difference.

She may have told you about the dream to hint to you that she's curious...
