    Hi
    Am a new mum of a 7 week old his got stuffy nose since week 5 and I have tried passing a wet cotton by his nose but still its not helping is there another remedy I can try?oh and scratchy throat when he wakes up which really bothers him
    I would appreciate your help,thanks.

    In the U.S. there is a product called Vicks Vaporub. It has menthol in it, and, if a little is rubbed under the nose, airways will open up. Ask your pharmacist if there is something similar in your country. Or call your doctor.

    I know we also had a "bulb" that would help suck or clean out the nose. Although from my memory the kids did not think highly of it.

    If they are sick for a bit, normally have you called and asked your doctor

    At this age I would also suggest you take him to the doctor RIGHT AWAY. At his age it would be so easy for a cold to turn into RSV or pnumonia.
