    a/c light blinking again
I have an 05 toyota camry 4 cyl with a blinking a/c light again. So I checked under the hood and looked at the cluth. Then I notice the rubber on it looks all melted. I just replaced it about two months ago because of the same reason. Could I have done something wrong when I installed it or a bad part?

Did you replace the compressor as a whole, or just the clutch? If you did the compressor, was the system evacuated and recharged? There is a specific amount of oil that goes into A/C systems. If you did just the clutch, it sounds like the compressor is locking up when it gets hot. It sounds like it's time for a whole new compressor, and a professional evac and recharge.

As I mentioned before, c clip orientation and shimming of the clutch plate is of the upmost importance.
This is an area where experience after going through what you are going through pays off.

The pulley should spin freely when spun. About .010" gap.
