    Becoming a guardian for a child
    I have recently become a guardian for my younger brother who is 13,the problem is I hve 2 children of my own who are 5 and 1.I live in a 3 bedroom house but am unsure whether he is allowed to share a room with either of them as he is a non sibling and a teenager,I live in a council house.doea anyone have any advice as to whether the council would re-house me

    Was this through a court or agency?

    It is worth a try to see if you can get relocated

    But what I would assume is that before you were given guardianship if someone checked you out prior then they should know you only have three bedrooms.
    You should be allowed two of the same sex per bedroom.

    His status as a non sibling as no bearing. His status as a teenager, might have a bearing.

    You really should be asking the council they can tell you their rules.
