    Sneezing is painfull
I would have posted this on my preveious post about my current illness... however it's a commpletely difrent issue so I thought it better to keep it separate.

    Some of you already know.

For about a week now, I have had SOMETHING wrong with my sinus'. I have an appt tomorrow to deturmine if it's a sinus infection. But I believe it IS in fact a sinus infection.

However, I'm starting to have another problem. Every time I sneeze, my whole chest, upper back, sholders, and arms down to my elbow get HORRIBLY SORE. As if I was completely bruised all over. And it lasts maybe 30 seconds after the sneeze before going away.

What could this be? Could a sinus infection turn into a URI? (upper respitory infection?)

Most likely it's all interconnected and part of the same problem. If in fact it is a sinus infection, it could have turned to a URI just as you have suspected.

OK. Thanks for reading hon. I can't wait till I go to the doctor tomorrow and find out wahts going on :P I'm just so ansty.

I have a nebulizer and albuterol, (I have asthma, but its usually not bad in the summer only in winter so I haven't been needing it) do you think this could help a little if I use a vial before bed?

It could help tremendously to open up the passages. It's worth a try. Let me know what the doc says tomorrow.

    Hello :)

You asked for an update. So, here :)

I got back from the docs about an hour ago. I may have had a URI... however its now 'walking pneumonia' he said that 'walking' means that its mild, I don't need hospitalization, nor am I getting the high delirious fever, but I have fluid build up in my chest. He said that its mild enough that he isn't going to worrie too much about it. And that it should go away in another week or so. He said that if its not better by another 7 days, or if it gets any worse, or if I spike a fever over 103, I should come back right away or go to an urgent care center.

But he said I'm young, healthy, and I should be fine. So that's out of the way. He also said that whie its not VERY contageous, it is still a little contageous and so my 5 year old is at nanas house for a few days until I start feeling better.

He also gave me a med for my nebulizer called pulmicort to take along with my albuterol. (not WITH the albuterol, but AS WELL AS the albuterol, he told me to take them separately lol)

So at least I got that hammered out.

Glad to hear it's something so simple. Sounds like you have a very proactive doctor. Pulmacort is some good stuff!

He said that it would be the easiest for me since I have asthma and I've taken that broncial inhaler that you can buy from pharmacies before and it doenst work for me. I'm weird :P

Hey J_9 and anyone else following this. I'm a little silly and like to do updates. But I thought I would let everyone know I'm feeling better :) I haven't sneezed in a while, so I don't know if my chest would still hurt, but the congestion in my sinus' is nearly gone and I feel generally better.

Thanks for all the support and concern :)
