My air Conditioner smell like a birds nest when I turn it on . What can I do ? I live in a apartment on the second floor and it is a outside unit.

When was the last time you changed the filter?


Look inside the unit, and see if an animal may have died inside it?

When all else fails, tell the apartment maitenence.

It's the apartment maintenaces problem not yours... unless you have some weird lease and you are suppose to take care of their problems. Call them and make them make sure nothing nested in the system.
