Hello every one I am new to this site and was just looking for some answers to my many questions. I have been on fertility treatment for the past year to find that I was finally pregnant just one week after my first HCG test I start cramping and bleeding then the hcg levels were not growing like they were supposed to, its been three weeks now I am still bleeding and my hcg levels are still growing only by a few points but not sure what comes next. If any one can give me and idea of what to ask my doctor. What to expect it was very confusing and frustrating. My hcg levels only got to like 103 then dropped to 43 then went up to 96 then again back up to 123. I am just so confused about every thing if any one can help with some answers.

I think you need to be asking your midwife or doctor about this really.

It sounds like you have already been diagnosed with miscarriage. The question is have you had any recent ultrasound? Many doctors goes by hcg levels and if they do not climb like they should, a lot of time it means that there is an immanent miscarriage about to happen. As far as the bleeding and cramping this long. You should see a doctor again. Sometimes doctors agree that letting nature takes its course is the best thing and sometimes they recommend a dnc Dilation and curettage - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

First step is to get an ultrasound, because if your still bleeding and cramping that would mean that there is still left over material from the miscarriage.

Please see your doctor as soon as possible. I will also say that depending how far along you are. It will take a while for your body to get back to normal. Especially considering what your going through right now. It might take at least 2 months for your cycle to get back to normal. Also it is normal for there to still have hcg levels even after a pregnancy is over.

These are the things YOU HAVE TO DISCUSS WITH YOUR DOCTOR.

Great advice Jesushelper, that's very true. Still she needs to still see a doctor/nurse about it if you're concerned.
