What are the steps for draining the pipes to an outdoor shower?

To drain the outside shower supplies and still keep pressure on in the house you must first install stop and waste valves, (see image) at the lowest point inside your house or as close to it as you can get. Then all you have to do is shut the valves off and open the shower valve and let it drain out of the valves. I have put up two types of valves. I favor the ball valve. You might also want to fill the trap of the shower drain with motor oil so it doesn't freeze when Ole Man Winter comes to call. Good luck and stay warm. Tom
