    Reverse switch Hampton Bay Fan
First of all let me say the manuel from hampton bay for my recently purchased fan is the worst I've ever seen. I purchased a caswyck model fan from home depot. Of course w/ the weather getting cooler I wantr to reverse it. The manuel says if you do not have a deluxe remote you have to "look" for a slide reverse switch on the motor housing. I did not install the fan. Well after taking the light cover off there appears to be no way to get to the motor housing much less a switch. Not wanting to tear the fan apart hopefully someone can help me find this mystical switch.

I am not familiar with this particular model, it must be on the housing somewhere. It could be in the switch housing, or hidden in the light glass, or on top of the motor. However you do not need to reverse a fan in the winter you can simply use it on low.

I had the same problem 1yr ago and today since a forget how to do it, but I finally did it. You don't have to tear it apart. :p

The button is at the very top of the fan were the upper lights are. You can't see it but with your hands you will find it.

    Hope this helps.
