Everything on my monitor is upside down, icons, text, etc and I can't seem to get it to turn upright

Several possibilities:

1) It may be a feature of your video card driver. Often there is a hotkey to rotate the screen which is buried in the display properties. Consult the card documentation or explore the display properties or video control panel. Posting your video card brand and model may elicit the exact key sequence.

2) It may be a feature of your monitor and can be changed with the monitor controls. Consult your monitor documentation.

3) Some joke screensavers exist that do odd things with the video. Someone may be having fun with you.
