Installing interior basement drain tile and sump
I would like to know how to install drain tile around 3 of my basement walls and connect
To a sump pump. I need to know how far down I need to dig? Where do I drill the holes in
The block foundation to direct the water in to drain tile? What kind of pitch do the tiles need to have? And how do I work around hot water tanks or other obstructions?

    Thank you.

Dig down below footer. Punch hole in inner wall of each block cavity. Put 1/2" PVC pipe in each hole. Pipe should extend beyound footer. Try to trench level or slope toward sump (1/8 per ft). Line trench with nylon fabric cloth (weed block). Lay pipe with holes down. Fill with gravel to bottom of basement slab. Cover gravel with nylon fabric. Pour concrete.
Dig hole for sump crock 6" larger than crock. Line hole with fabric. Set crock. Fill between crock and hole with gravel.
Move water heater or tunnel under. Easier to move.
