Itin rejected last week but it showed up today
I applied for my nephews itin along with my 1040 last march, in April they sent me a letter asking me for more information, I sent the information the last week of April, last Wednesday they sent me a letter saying that my itin number got rejected because I didn't send back the information that they asked me for, also the letter said that my 1040 was going to be processed and the amount that I was claiming was going to be recalculated since the itin was rejected. Today I checked the mailbox and there was a letter from the IRS with his itin number, so what is going to happened now? They are going to send me my return recalculated and I have to amend after that with the itin number that I got, or I am going to get the amount that I was claiming originally?
