    Yeast Infection.
Ok so I'm more than 90% sure that I have a yest infection... after reading about what yeast infections are I found out that they're fungal infections; so I was wondering if a cream I got for a fungal infection (and I researched the cream to).. could be used to help treat the yeast infection as long as I don't actually put it in the cream inside of my vaginal canal or whatever it is... would that help? Or would it just be a waste of time...

I assume your talking about a simmple generic antifungal cream... for example, a foot fungus cream, or a jock itch cream... or any other type...

If that is the case, then no, you need to get a medication that is SPECIFICALLY FOR yeast infection. Monistat is a great product for this. Or see your doctor and he can prescribe for you a cream that will help.

    Good luck hon.

You need to do a diet for yeast infection otherwise all the medicines you use aren't going to clear it up.

You need to cut out sugars.
Eat orgainic unsweetened yogurt and/or take probiotics

Eat very little fruit because of the sugar content.

Cut out refined foods (again sugar... and white flours)

    Candida Diet
