Going crazy! Remodeled a 60's ranch after Katrina. New plumbing, new toilets, new slate floors. One bathroom (out of 5!) has a strong urine smell. Bedrooms on either side have no odor. Accused my son of a bad aim - had him stop using the bathroom - cleaned the bathroom from floor to ceiling with bleach & fabuloso - poured bleach down the tub drain - candles, odor eliminators, damprid! It will not go away! No one has used the tub in a year!

I will not let anyone use this bath room because I am paranoid it is a bad plumbing problem (broken pipes?) but have found no evidence of any leaks.

Could it be a bad seal on the toilet? Would that make the tub smell?

Do you also get a sewage smell along with the urine odor?

No... just strong urine smell... like a mens truckstop bathroom!
