How long would it take to build a house?
My boyfriend and I are building a house at the moment. Our contractor started on the 1st of December and is still not finished. How long do you think it should take to build a two story house? Its roughly about 3000sq metres

The time to build a house is relative to number of people working on it and if they are working every day and know what they are doing.

I have seen a 2500s f house weather tight done in seven days. Had 6 to 10 people there working.

Is this a custom home? What did the builder tell you in the length of time? How far along is the project? It should be done by now unless there have been some extenuating circumstances there for Rock hammering for foundation/inspections/weather delays/ print revisions/ Extras added etc.

When signing contract to build house, should have had time limit clause with penalities for being late.
