My GE gas oven won't lite, the ignitor glows but the oven doesn't lite.

The gas valve or the switch that controls the gas valve could be defective. Since you did not provide a model number I can be of no further assistance.

Find the wires that go to the glow bar by removing the floor. With a clip on amp meter clip onto one of the wires. You should get about 3.2A but you are probably getting around 2.6A. Replace the glow bar.
