I and my wife r on Student visa now in uk.Can I change my status from student to dependent visa without taking Entry clearance or remaining in uk.

Yes u can go to student dependent visa if u and your wife both are on the student visa.and same applies to your wife as well.but u cannot go back to the student visa once u have changed from student to student dependent.I only know this because one of my friend and his wife have done the same thing as u are seeking guidance for.and moreover u don't have to leave the UK for that purpose.
